NPC Physique Competition Plans

So lets talk a few minutes about where I have come from and where I plan on going. First of all for all of you new subscribers / followers let me give you a little background. After the passing of my father I became obsessed with becoming debt free and healthy. I got heavy into cycling. It wasn’t long before I was in my first group ride, and then very quickly into my first road race. I i fairly well for having such little time on a bike. I became known for my ability to climb hills and make those that tried to stay on my wheel suffer an then quit trying. Over the course of 5 or 6 years I began having the desire the lift, not only lift but to train at a high level. Every guy wants to be bigger, better, faster, richer, than he is. Once I decided I wanted to get that beach body physique people started to tell me I couldn’t do it. That was just a reason to do just that.
Now here we are 21 months into the transformation, Cyclist to Bodybuilder. I don’t hear any of them saying anything now. You can do anything you set your mind and commit to. Even shut up a bunch of trolls.
So here we are days after my 40th B-Day, and I am here to tell you I will be entering my in the 2016 Max Muscle NPC show. I will likely enter the masters division of the mens physique class. At 6’1″ I will be in the tallest class. I wont bull shit you standing on a stage next to other elite level competitors, in front of two or three hundred people while I am judge on the way I look is a very different feeling. I am very much looking forward to it though, an I am hoping to see some of you guys an gals there.  So mark own the date and make plans to come hang with me and support me. The Dad Bod

Wow! Stupid! Lazy! Excuse! These are all words that come to mind when I hear people talking about the “Dad Bod”. What a joke. It is so easy to be fit and healthy in this country especially. You have to be some kinda stupid and lazy to be overweight and unhealthy without a REAL medical condition. We have gym’s on every corner, personal trainers available in person and online 24hrs a day 7 days a week. We have ever possible food choice readily available for cheap. We have dietary supplements to help you if needed. Now don’t get me wrong I don’t think every one should be in the physical shape that I am in this picture, and I do not maintain this conditioning year round. However there is almost never a time when you cant sorta see my abs. No I do not starve myself. I do not eat nothing but chicken and lettuce. I just choose my meals and their portions wisely and get regular exercise. If need or want some help contact me. If you are overweight and unhealthy don’t make excuses or try to normalize it by giving it cute little names like “Dad Bod”.

The Power Of Mental Completion

If you stumbled onto this post looking for porn, its not that type of completion. What we are going to discuss is how so many people spend so much time thinking about what they are going to do or want to do that in their mind it’s as if it’s already been completed. Don’t get me wrong I am all about knowing what you are doing and understanding the risks and rewards. However I see so many people that never do anything because they research it for day, weeks, or even months on end. Then they discuss it with everyone they have ever known to the point the discussions start sounding more like them bragging about how they did it. When in reality nothing has been done or even started. Often we see, and even do this but it is passed off as laziness. Just for the record there are a LOT of lazy people in this world as well but we will save that for another time.  If you want something in life or have a dream of the kind of life you want to live you will need to “MAKE IT HAPPEN”. There will never be a time in your life where anyone is going to just hand you something worth having. There is only one person you can blame or thank for what you have or do not and that is you. It does not matter if it’s a job you want, the physique you wish had, or becoming completely debt free. Anything can be done if you are willing to do it. So whatever “IT” is make the decision to Make It Happen, then spend as much or even more time doing it as you do sitting around talking about it. Don’t make excuses why it can’t happen. There is as I said only one excuse for that. So are you going to sit in your rocking chair at 65 and think about all you wish you would have done or will you still be doing what you love because you made it happen? The choice is yours!
